[ html]I cannot figure out what the functional HTML is for the forums.

It seems that if a post is submitted with the HTML, it cannot be edited later. Also, if the Smiley function is on - which I just can't stand - during editing, then the HTML formatting is no longer effective on reposting.

Is there someone who can help me with this?

PS Please, please, please could we make the smiley default OFF?
