My camera downloads videos in quicktime. I don't want that I want media player. I can't find a way to change it.
It's a Kodak DX7590. I can't edit quicktime or play it in my media player.
If anyone has a idea I would be thankfull.

never had the problem, however i had a dig.. have a look at this page and try option #3. it may be 'free'.

i'm suprised the camera doesn't come with something that can convert out of .qt format though, its not exactly a standard...

what sort of camera is it?

Thanks Claire. I went to Kodak web site.
Entered camera type DX7590, went to specs & it says QT format. I went thru camera & it's not changable.
It's a nice camera takes realy sharp looking shots.
But my movie maker can't edit them.

But thank you for taking the time to help.

heres a couple of shareware apps. I havent tried either but did a quick searchon download.com. Tucows.com is another place to try.

Both programs are free to try but you have to pay to remove the watermark, about $30 i think.

The second one should work for you. Just comvert to WMA or AVI and check the file types for those formats is set to media player.

    Good luck!
