As the title says, i'm pretty fed up & here's why. I have a new PC & have been tryin to get into the chatroom but i have had NO luck at all & i've tried everything i can....uninstalling & re-installing Macafees Anti-virus, Flash Player(needed for chat)....Rebooted got knows how many times & it STILL don't wanna know.

Here's me, a chat Mod & i can't get in the damned room however hard i try, so short of a miracle happening (yeah right) i may well have to give up on chat but havin tried everything what else can i do?

But just cos i aint in chat anymore, dont mean i'm leavin......NOT with me just bein appointed a supermod, i'll STILL be here so don't panic.

I do not know if it will make any difference but have you got the Java Runtime environment programme on your computer. Its free from Java. I am not technical minded but It is worth a try.

It may be a pop up blocker, if you have one installed you may have to turn it off, or program it to allow pop ups from the site.

I can tell you that it is not a pop-up blocker that is causing this. We do not have any popup adverts on this site and there is no way that popups could affect our chat room.

Our old Digichat room opened member's profiles in new popup windows and was often thwarted by popup blockers.

However, the new Flash-based chat room which we have had installed since June does not use popups.

The chat room software is working perfectly here. We have changed nothing at this end for months.

I think the fact that you have a new PC is a clue.

My money is on your firewall.

Thanks for all the messages girls......i dont know what i did or HOW i did it but at long last i can access the chatroom cos i was in last night.

I know it wasn't to do with the firewall cos i've not got one just bein on dial-up, or my Macafees as i have never had any bother with it before. All i do know is i'm back & that makes me very happy cos i missed chattin with peeps there.

Always said ya can't keep a girl down for long!
