Trannyweb and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies at the University of Leeds in the UK have come together to make one of the world's largest studies focusing on transgender issues ever conducted. Our surveys were started on January 1st 2007 so that makes them among the longest running too.

Transgenderism is still seriously misunderstood and we all know of the prejudice transgendered people face everyday.

The answers that we get from this survey will give a good picture of transgenderism on a global scale.  Yes, this survey does have limitations but it will be a fantastic step towards a better understanding.

This questionnaire is to be part of us.  It is nothing without all of us.  It will give us a snapshot of who we are, show us that we are not alone, that we share so many similar feelings wherever we are, and that we are here to stay.
