I think the transition path is in all cases at least two years long. I started my HRT in November 2002, first 6 months on a lower dose, then full speed ahead. Next November I´m going to have my SRS already behind and I´ll get my legal female status.
The facial epilation takes normally the same two years. So, if you make your time plan carefully, you can be there in two years, but not earlier, I think. Of course the feminization takes place still in years to come. Some people say, the breasts take 4 to 6 years to get full blown .

And I know I´m one of the quickiest, together with a certain Katriina. I know quite many, who go on and off hormones for family reasons. They try to balance between their inner self and the life situation they are in. And I must admire them, how they can survive that way. I could be there balancing myself if my ex had been only a bit more flexible...
