If a solicitor make false statements in a statement presented to court is it perjury?

 

 

The solicitor is not under oath, so would be very doubtfull if he would be comitted for perjury, but if he knowingly makes fales representation to a court he could be held in contempt, Aslo depending on the statement could be construed as misrepresentation of a clients interest
