Muck like this sells hundreds of thousands unfortunately. I can only add my little protest, hoping the collective will outnumber the readers of this rag. If it does the publishers will take notice.
To me the fact that a front cover like this could even be published serves to inform us just how entrenched transphobic attitudes are within the media. Until we reach the point where this sort of thing becomes as out of date as it would be if almost any other minority group were portrayed in this way we can never relax our fight for equality and respect.
