Today has mostly been an accounts day while I wait for various people to come back to me with news of the server problem, which caused it to fall over every seven or eight hours.
Eric, our programmer in Canada, seems to think it's a network problem at the hosting company and not caused by anything he's done. However, he does admit that the timing of the problem's emergence does point the finger at him, as he was working on the server at the time.
The hosting company, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, are investigating.
Meanwhile, I've identified some problems with the new Birthday script which has just been installed. It's supposed to send each of our members a birthday greeting. Eric has just sorted the probs out though. He's also looking at fixing the lack of images in the blogger - it seems the wrong image folder was specified in the blogger config settings. I'm hoping to unveil Trannyblogger in the next day or so.
Last night I interviewed Andrea Hillaire, who runs Stormes Transgender Nightclub, for The Tranny Tribune, so she will be our celebrity interviewee in the next issue. Stephanie Ann Lloyd, who started Transformation, has also agreed to appear.
I need to find some well known tranny icons / celebs from outside the UK though. Trannyweb is supposed to be an international organisation but I feel that it's been very British recently. All suggestions for celebrity interviewees will be greatly appreciated.
That's my day so far - how exciting!
