  Just a little update. A settlement offer was made. Varies from 5% to 10% of award from court. No apology offered,though. As far as I'm concerned, I'll hold out for the full amount,plus interest. It's the principle of it ,after all.

  Looks like this case has set a legal precedent. Now a local bakery has closed for refusing to make a lesbian couple a wedding cake. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and beliefs,but when you open a business you are expected to comply with the law.

  Got an e-mail from the BOLI lawyer today in regards to Mr.Penner's 1st amendment claims. Full of legalese and case references, however it appears that ther are no grounds for his claim of defense under this clause. Now awaiting his attorney's response.

  Latest rumor has it that business has taken a drastic downward turn for Mr. Penner. Supposedly, he's trying to sell the business. Still awaiting decisions by BOLI people. But because he made call on his personal phone,in my opinion,he's on the hook no matter what.
