Well..Nice Day Out

Today I took  day off Work   to see gender specialist in London, 3 months  on from blogging about the Miranda score and Waterloo  Sunset  . I thoroughly enjoyed the day, even though it started  very cold , but soon warmed up clear sky bright Sun Shine. I decided to wear a flowing Blue thinnish fabric  long Skirt, couldnt be bothered to take a thick Coat , so opted for  a warm wool throwover [ the wrong choice for the morning , but just right after midday].

I decided tackle my shoe problem , before appointment - Why cant I find a comfy pair of shoes that dont blister me or push my toes to mess up the toe end of stockings and tights ?

I got into London Early as I dont like being rushed , increasingly I am making decisions like this Donna will not be rushed.

I checked out Location of London Long Tall Sally , Chiltern Street , did a  walk across town , feet were telling me get a new pair of shoes I found LTS shop was not open  , so I went to an independent Coffee shop. It had an interesting interior with seating and tables  to the back of the  building . I ordered a medium Mocha and a nice slice of Cake  and sat discreetly in the room at the back . I did not notice that this room  had a window which backed on to a neighbouring Office with a big Computer  screen in front...I say I did not notice this .. as I decided this was a discreet enough environement for me to quickly adjust my developing boobs into their right setting...Nothing revealing really .. it was then I noticed a bespectacled young Man s eyes above the Computer screen. ..His Glance instantly changed  and dived to disappear behind the PC screen... and rightly so I thought ..I am on holiday but he is supposed to be  at work ! :-)  .

    - I calmly looked ahead to the arrival of the Coffee and Cake .The cake was very Nice , Chocolate topping and a creamy sponge base, but importantly not overly sweet.

LTS was a disappointment , show selection was not varied, though I bought a pair of Hush Puppy Sandals[ probably a Mistake]. I was disappointed as they decided to fold all the Trousers , and Skirts on the clippable coat hangars so that you could not see the size. I decided I would go to my appointment and return to visit 2 shops on Chiltern street which said they did 7-11 shoes. Appointment was fine .

Returned to One of the shoe shops  later , and was compromised by a really comfy pair of Italian Flats[ with a slight rise] expensive, but I was desperate by then . There where some Nice shops to Browse Skandium with  Marrimeko, Arabia MOoMIn Bowls and Mugs .After this I decided to make my Way back to the Train station [ wearing the New Shoes] . I went Back via JOhn Lewis's  taking a Loo Break , after which I seem to have caused a Queue. This is normal , and its not just me . I decided to round the day off with A coffee outside the  Embankment Tube Station . 2 chaps where in the Coffee shop doing the MAle BAnter. I reflected I cant do this now , well As if I ever could .  I did the trip across the Bridge , Sun shining like it had done 3 Months ago. I was very relaxed  . A Happy Day

    HUgs ALL,  Donna

  • Donna V For info,[not advertising] I found Crispin shoes in London to be very helpful, and they offered half sizes. All shoes on display are size 9 as standard, so for me I could try things on [size9-10]. Its strange but I actually think my feet are getting...  more
