Hiya,
I had my second visit to CX today. It went really well and I have my second approval. I need to give up smoking for 3 months before they will allow me to start hormones so I should start in January. I said if I had of known there was a 3 month retention on giving up smoking I would have given up sooner! lol so be warned!
The reason they are strict on smoking is that taking eostrogen increases the chances of getting thrombosis. If someone gets thrombosis they have to take additional drugs to disperce the blood clot and then wharphrin to thin the blood. Its not really something anyone should chance! because anurisms can kill.
