I hate to be a whiner but the TW house of games is a very tough house. Everytime I think I have a good hand - down comes the "silver hammer." Maybe I shouldn't be betting $100.00 per hand. If it was money I'd be on the street corner with a sign. "Need help"
Thanks to the goddess I'm not a compulsive gambler - come to think of it, I think most of my compulsions have dwindled - guess it's part of the aging process. At least that's what I tell myself. My only compulsion is being Gracie, dressed femme or not. Gracie has better posture and she has a better mental outlook. My bride said the other day that Gracie was younger than "you know who" and even didn't wear glasses - except for reading. I guess I'm a bit vain - hah! Vanity, vanity etc.
I'll be very happy when this election campaign is over. My dad used to say "they all tell you what they think will get them elected." Promises are cheat. I can undeerstand why some people get fed up and wont vote. But I'll vote hoping the lesser crooks gets elected.
