Good news, totally indifferent news

    The good part first.

I hope to be moving. Very soon. Still rented, and subject to my approval of the flat (which is about 99.9% sure to be yes). My own front door again, after too many years.
So I will soon be entering panic mode - there seems to be a huge amount of stuff here that is mine, and it's all got to be shifted down two or three flights of narrow winding stairs, which means taking most of it apart. Then there are the things I haven't got. And the landlord to sort out, and try to ensure Rafal and Magda don't end up on the street, and transport to arrange... shoot, I hate moving.
Was offline for two days, changed my phone provider, then my BB. Was too easy. Line changed on Tuesday, called BB provider to let them know they could activate it. Today it is on. And bloody fast, 20Mb unlimited downloads. Then I will have to move it. Bet it's not so good in the new place!

And the indifferent bit? Paperwork from sixth referral demanded by PCT was sent to them on the first working day in January. I sent the clinic a really rude letter on Monday asking what the hell was going on, seeing as last time it was submitted to the PCT it came back the same day the board sat. (As a no, we want another opinion). Like they took delight in saying no, and couldn't tell me soon enough.
Apparently, this time the PCT had 'difficulty opening an attachment' to the email, but have now sorted it out and will put it before the next board. Bollox. If they had really had a problem, they would have asked for it to be resent, or faxed, or posted, or I could have walked there with it quicker! And I told them so, in no uncertain terms.
Maybe, just maybe, this will be my year.
