I Recieved a totally unexpected but very welcome phone call on saturday night.I was havin a girly night in and had bathed and got myself all dressed up in my shortest black dress and heels,and done my makeup.I'd settled down in front of the TV with a bottle of wine for company...when the phone rang.To my Utter surprise and joy,it was my good friend Meredith calling all the way from chicago in the US,to see how i was and how things were going.I hadn't been too happy recently,what with not getting to meet sarah and all...I'm happy to say that's all sorted out now.The fact that Mere had taken time out from her party to call me was so touching that it nearly brought me to tears...as did what she had to say to me.No-ones ever said such nice things to me before.I just wish there was some way we could meet up someday and say these things face-to-face,cos she's one very special person and i love her to bits.
