Girls i can't tell you how disappointed and sad i am at the news i recieved today. It seems like those two thugs that threatened me with a hammer are going to get away with it! The police have taken..i=or tried to take statements but got nowhere. Some people that saw what happpened won't even give statements....there's one that quite clearly saw what went on, but when the police went to see him he saidthat he saw nothing...can you believe that!! The guy walked right past so how the hell could he say he saw nothing!!. If i'd had an independant witness then the case would have gone to court as the CPS were happy to accept it. it just upsets me to think that several people saw what went on but not ONE of them would back me up when it all comes down to the nitty gritty. A few of them were in their 80's and i culd hardly expect them to go to court as witnesses, it's the rest that have saddened me with their attitude but as they say..."thats life" The Attitude of the police throughout all this i cannot praise too highly.I have been treated with respect and courtesy throughout. I guess when they come back tomorrow i'll have totell them i'm dropping the case as its just gonna be my word against those two......hardly seems fair to me,them gettin off with it.......
