i've had one of THOSE days today....where everything has gone my way. I got some fantastic news regarding the project i am trying to get off the ground. Had a meeting today with some people and they've told me that they'll back me 100 %, and it looks very likely that i will be able to get funding after all. But there's a LOT more work in it than i'd ever imagined, like getting trained for started in the basic counselling skills but before that i have to be counselled myself which i'm more than happy to do.Theres even talk of me acquiring my own premises to get started up....how good is that eh?
Just when i thought things couldn't get any better, they did BIG-TIME! I arrived home from work tpo find there'd been a parcel left for me at a neigbours, which i collected. I was puzzled at first cos i wasn't expectin one....but when i opened it up and saw what was inside, well i immediately burst into tears as i read the card that came with it cos it said" to the most wonderful, warm-hearted girl in the world". it'd been sent by a certain girl from north of the border,who lives in Cumnock. Shall i tell you who?..oh what the hell why not...it's my good friend miss charllet gellar! we've become very close just recently and i';d sent her something in the post last week. In return she'd sent me a HUGE bouquet of Roses, a bottle of champagne and some posh chocs which must have cost an absolute fortune!. if you get to read this charllet honey....thankyou SO much for a truly wonderful gift which i'll treasure forever! I know i've had my fair share of setbacks and knocks recently but at long last the tide is turning and things are going my way, and with miss gellar by my side things can only get better!
