My sparkle started in the most unexpected of circumstances in that charllet was supposed to be comin to stop with me the Weds before sparkle....but she was here on the tues, & i had NO idea she'd planned it. So we spent weds & thurs together before headin off to catch the train to Mancs at 07:50, eventually arriving there just before 2pm. Headed Straight to the Hotel to Check in, before everyone else turned up.sat in the hotel bar havin a drink or 2 when in walked Gloria,Robyn, Justine, M/A & Mags whom i'd not met before( & would meet several more times during the w/e). Hit Canal st on Fri night & it was BUZZIN.....you've never seen so many Girls out havin a good time.Went in several places startin with Paddys Goose. I came out of there & grabbed somethin to eat in a take away....& i got chatted up by a rather cute chap!!!. Ended up in Taurus until almost midnight when i started to nod off which was hardly surprisin given that me & charllet had a 6hr train trip to get there.Dropped into bed just after 12-30 & didnt wake til 8 am the following morning. Went Down for Brekkie before Headin out to canal St to see what was goin on....& There was quite a bit actually. Some of the Frocks i saw bein worn made me decidedly envious of some girls but there ya go.Actually spent most of the day sat outside Via Fosse with JJ,suzy & co chatting amongst ourselves before we took a wander back to the hotel to get ready for the evening. Met up again with maryanne,mags, Justine, Robyn & Gloria before we went for a chinese, although only 6 actually went for it. Once finished there, took a wander over to sackville gardens to catch the end of "Miss Sparkle" & to see the counterfeit Dolls band which were playin. Comin back up canal St we bumped into lucy & pippa,always a pleasure to meet them & was just a shame we didn't have longer. Ended up in Taurus again with the usual crowd...with Christina & fay eventually joinin us. left there & got a Burger before headin back to the hotel feelin decidedly squiffy cos we'd both had a fair bit to drink. Woke around 9-ish & went for brekkie before goin back to the room to pack our stuff as we had to be out of the room by 12. Before that, we did manage to meet up with JJ,suzy,chris & fay, so we could go for a coffee which we sat in sackville gardens drinkin. Pretty soon after, it was time to go our separate ways as we both had long journeys home. It's at times like this i always seem to get a lump in my throat & this was no exception for this soppy mare! went back to hotel to collect cases before takin one last stroll down canal st for a drink or two before we caught our train back home, which didn't leave til 2.45 pm. I have to say i was rather sad to leave cos we'd both had a truly fantastic time. Eventually arrived at norwich at 7.30 pm where we had a 1 1/2 hour wait for a connecting train back to lowestoft which didnt get there til almost 9.45pm, both of us were pretty tired but glad to be back after a truly memorable weekend for so many reasons.Meetin lots more girls i.e Glo,robyn, justine & co was just BRILL but what capped the whole thing off was havin my charllet with me. I can truly say that having her with with me so everyone could meet the girl who's well & truly captured my heart, just made me feel SO proud to be out with her. its a feeling & a memory this girl will never EVER forget.
