For me already, 2006 has been a good year for meeting new people. I met Gloria,Robyn,Mags, Maryanne & Justine for the first time at sparkle a few weeks ago.....& i thought i couldn't top that but i did today because i met Joanne Lee for the very first time. I knew she was comin over but wasn't sure when, but i got a phone call from her on Tuesday asking if i fancied meeting up.....of course i said yes, as i've known Joanne almost as long as i've been a member here at TW. We met earlier today & went for Lunch and a drink or two, before i showed her around the Lowestoft.Even here we have places of interest & things to see like the tallest wind-turbine in Europe( allegedly) & the most easterly pub in th UK too. Then Jo managed to forget where she's parked the car, so we had to wander round tryin to find it which we eventually did. Then drove back to my place, where i made the tea & we sat and talked about all kinds of things....i even showed her the pics i took at sparkle. All too soon, it was time for her to leave which was a shame cos we could've sat & talked for hours. I watched her drive away, with a mixture of happiness/Sadness inside me but in my heart i knew we'd both had a good time. I ask myself if my year could have got any better.... well after meeting 2 Girls from the US & now one from down under (Oz), all of whom i'd met for the very first time i don't see how it can but.........you NEVER know eh?
