OK OK......morelike one in 500,000 but still it was fun. You're probably wonderin just WHAT i'm on about here....so let me fill you in. yesterday & today in Lowestoft it was our annual 2-day air-show( planes & the like). it''s been going for 10 years & this was only the 2nd time i'd been since going f/t. The weather over the 2 days had been SO hot it was unbelievable, & that made it all the more fun for me.The Crowds were enormous i can tell you.....in the region of 450,000+.One of the things that stood out for me was the fact that there were several female pilots taking part in the display.....one of them actually OWNED a WW2 Mk 9 Spitfire,worth well over £1,000,000.I must admit whilst there i did get one or two funny looks which is hardly surprising when you think i must have been the only t-girl there. That's why i'd adopted the CGF attitude ( couldn't give a f.....steady on girl!) not ladylike language.BUT having said that, 2 chaps actually took the time to speak to me....now i aint sure if it was a wind-up but they seemed genuinely interested.I THINK i even managed to get on the local news too.....yeah right, i'll believe that when i see it.All in all a fun few days & i can honestly say i've never been out in a crowd THAT big before...GOD it was a hoot!
