it's been about t2/3 months since i called Charing Cross to see what was happening regarding my appt with them & was told they were waiting for the OK from my local PCT before progressing. So i called the PCT today to see what the situation was and was pleasantly surprised with what i was told. Apparently they only got my papers from Dr Olive at the end of july so i know they ARE there which is ok. The PCT have a meeting every month to discuss cases like my own & decide on who's suitable for treatment. At this Meeting they will decide one way or the other......yes or no to funding my HRT. The Next one's on the 21st of this month so it should not be much longer before i get that long awaited letter confirming my Appt. The girl i spoke to was very good & she gave me no end of info about what happens next so that i'm prepared for whatever comes my way......whenever that may be.I guess at this moment in time tis a case of watch this space for further developments.
