Things are progressing so fast i've not had time to breathe here. Earlier this week i went to see the CAB ( Citizens Advice Bureau) about the possibility of bringing a claim of discrimination against the hotel, manager & bouncer for they way they treated me. The CAB put me onto a solicitor, so i went to see them. The Girl i spoke to was genuinely appalled by what happened to me & said i have a VERY strong case for taking action, but because her firm wasn't specialized in this kind of thing( i was a 1st for them) she put me in touch with the equalities & Human rights peeps. In the last 2 days they really have been a great help to me, giving me all the necessary information i need. I'm now in the process of drafting a formal letter of complaint which i have to send to the hotel along with a questionnaire that needs filling in. This, they have to reply to within 21 days because if they do NOT......i go to the County Court & pick up an N1 form. I fill it in & return it to the court, they will then send out a letter saying that the case is going to court. If this does happen then it really doesn't bother me in the slightest cos i feel i'm standing up for what i believe in. If it stops another girl going through what i have had to go through, it'll all have been worth it. There's still a way to go in the case, but believe me this girl is more than ready to fight her corner.
