I've been talking to Katie via email and private message about a thought I had to help with Trannywebs funding crisis.
Trannyweb makes gets some of its funding through advertisers, and I know many of you display trannyweb banners on your websites.
The idea, which katie has seen and agreed to and has hosted my script for, is to offer all us girls the opportunity to display a larger trannyweb banner, including the sponsors adverts. Of course, every click counts.
The banner is exactly as you (usually) see it at the top of the page.
to add the banner, or replace the banner you currently use, it's easy.
Simply ad the following line between the <head> tags of the webpage you will show it on....
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://gendersociety.com/bannerhead.js"></script>
and add the line...
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://gendersociety.com/bannerdisplay.js"></script>
...between the <body> tags wherever you want to display the banner on your page.
The more people that visit the sponsors links, the more chance Trannyweb has of staying afloat.

The banner displays random ads from trannyweb, using trannywebs clickthru URLs to the sponsors, each time the page is loaded/refreshed.

Hi girls and thanks to Rhia for a good idea and a very clever script.
This will be especially useful for us if those of you who have Trannyweb sites are able to display the ads.
The reason is because when the advertisers look at their stats they will see the referring site as Trannyweb.
It's a bit of a double-edged sword because if you put our banners on your Yahoo site, the advertiser will see Yahoo as the referring site and won't be a good thing at all - in fact it could be very bad.
Anyway, thanks again girls. I really do appreciate all the thinking that's gone into finding new ways for us to stay afloat in the last couple of weeks.
I'll be letting you know more about all the 'shinnanigans' that have been going on behind the scenes very soon.
