Hurricane Wilma

This is a record breaking storm in every sense of the word.

it's heading up between the Yutacan Peninsula and Cuba at the moment, and is then expected to turn sharply west and head for south florida at amasing speed. It's currently the size of Hurrican Gilbert, and has a central pressure lower than Gilbert. Actually, it's 882 mb, which is an atlantic all-time record.

If you live in south Florida or the Keys, don't make the mistake of leaving it to the last minute to get out of there. When the storm turns the corner, we'll have a more certain idea of which part of florida it will hit, and when it does, it will go straight over and remain a hurricane on the other side.

This thing is NO NORMAL STORM!

Whatever you do, don't leave it to the last minute - it will be too late, and that's a guarentee. Don't assume the storm surge will be lower than predicted either.

Just keep Hurrican Gilbert in the back of your mind while making your choice....
