havent been here for a while ( sorry!) but i notice I cant get into the chat rooms any more. It asks for a username & password which are obviously different from my main ones as I cant log in?

Only specific chat rooms should challenge you for a password. If you are signed into the site, however, you should not be asked for your username. Are you talking about the "Main Room" and are you logged in?
