    Hi girls,

I came across this Sanskrit Proverb, in the form of a poem, and thought you might like it.

    Look to this day
    For it is life,
    The very life of life,
In it's brief course lie all
The realities and verities of existence,
    The bliss of growth,
    The splendour of action,
    The glory ofpower .........

For yesterday is but a dream,
And tomorrow is only a vision,
    But today, well lived,
Makes every yesterday a dream of happiness,
And every tomorrow a vision of hope,
Look well, therefore, to this day.

    (from Kalidasa).

If anyone else has some poetry they think we might enjoy, let's have it.
I'm sure you ALL have a favourite piece!

Remember me when I am gone away,
    Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
    Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than you should remember and be sad.
