I thought since we all love politicians and know their propensity to uhmmm, alter the facts, we needed a thread to highlights these errors.

I would like to start off pointing out the Ad Obama is running in Ohio saying how McCain has cost the state 8000 jobs because of allowing DHL to merge with Airborne Express. The AFL-CIO teamsters are saying because of how McCain voted in 2003 to an amendment which would have blocked the merger that these workers are being laid off. The facts are McCain did not vote for the amendment because it was tucked in a totally unrelated bill. Next was the fact that the AFL-CIO teamsters were in favor of the merger at that time. I guess they wanted it both ways and when it didn't work out they figured they could blame someone else and I guess they figure their members are too stupid to remember, maybe they are right. In my opinion unions are as corrupt as the rest of the politicians, no wonder they always support democrats. Oops, did I say that, lol.

Back to you post - Most of our politicians are lawyers (no offense) and lawyers are trained to lie. Ergo: most politicians lie.
My personal reason for not hitting the streets protesting( I'm chicken)is the attitude of the bureauocracy has not changed any since Selma, Alabama. Any lage protest against authority is considered a riot and the SWAT team arrives.
