OMG !!! .................................
Someone has just TOTALLY WRECKED my day !!!
They've sent me an eMail to remind me of something !!
And, since it's wrecked my day, I thought "Oh, what the Hell !! Why should I be the only one ?? !!!"
So girls, I'd just like to remind you that there are now just 100 days to Christmas !!!
Now, hasn't that "just made your day" !!!
And some people try to tell you that Christmas doesn't "start" earlier every year !!
Enjoy the rest of your day !! LoL.
Hugs,
Angela. xxx.

Last year was my first all girl Christmas and it was wonderful. But Angela is right, the days are just going by too fast.

Should we start humming carols?
"Christmas is a-comin' an the goose is getting fat
please put a penny in the old man's hat
if you do not have a penny a hav' penny will do
if you do not have a hav' penny then
God bless you
God bless you ladies, etc., etc."
Now wasn't that up-lifting?
Hugs and holly leaves

I love Christmas and I enjoy the winter here with the Christms markets and skiing, gluhwein and everything that goes with it!!
I'm also one of those people who start Christmas shopping in January and have it nearly complete by December. I love Christmas shopping too, it's so different to the UK, much more relaxed.
Here's to Christmas!! Wooohoooo!!!

Hi Mary Grace, I’ve spent a couple of Christmases in Germany so I’m going to jump in and be a know-all and tell you that Glûhwein is mulled red wine, with cinnamon and cloves and stuff like that.
German Christmas markets are really pretty and there seems to be a more traditional feel about the whole thing than we have over here these days. English Christmas is all about joining the throngs to Tesco’s to fill up on beer, sherry and microwave nibbles. Shopping in Kendal in the weeks leading up to Christmas is a pretty miserable affair.
I dislike the “commercialism” of Christmas, but I do enjoy my Christmas day with the family, and a good turkey dinner.

Ooh I've found a proper umlaut, let's see if TW will accept it...
Glühwein, is the correct spelling!
