Planning to visit Amsterdam with the OH for our wedding anniversary. As it is rare for us to have time away together (without kids) it will be a great opportunity to indulge in lots of browsing/shopping, and I'm hoping that it will be a chance for her to get out and about in girl-mode (never done it during the day before). Does anyone have any experience of Amsterdam? This will be my first visit, but I have heard it is a tolerant and relaxed city. Specifically, is it likely to be a 'friendly' place for a rather nervous and self-conscious T-girl? Also, does anyone know of any tranny-friendly hotels where we could relax and be ourselves? Sorry, I'm non-scene myself, BUT I can say that my experience of the Netherlands is that you are unlikely to have any issues there at all, and certainly not in a place like Amsterdam that has seen it all many times before..................
