Hi Brenda,
I was in Las Vegas mid September last year and first off I recommend that you pack for very hot weather. I spent some time with another f/t TS but we never went to any TG specific locations. I stay in a timeshare resort called Wyndham Grand Desert and they treated me fine, but I don't know if they every knew I was TS. I even laid out in my bikini by the pool. I ventured into many of the casinos and never had an issue. Vegas does have it's seedier side of town so be cautious if you venture away from the strip. There is a lounge on Tropicana Avenue called the "Goodtimes Lounge" that I heard positive things about but never stopped there. I've driven by the place and it looks ok. It is probably about 3 miles from the strip.
Here is a link to a great website that rates numerous businesses of all types for how they cater to TGs along with whether or not they are a safe place to visit.

My dad lives in Las Vegas so I would like to get back out there next year if I can. I hope you have a safe fun trip.
Hugs,
Marsha

Thank you for the info. I will be staying at a regular hotel (Stratosphere) on the strip, witha flight/hotel package. My date and guide lives about 4 hour drive away but is familiar to a degree, not with TG places but Vegas in general. Thank you for the info and yes i have been advised about the heat and cannot wait! .......hugs

Hey Brenda!! You will have an awesome time in Las Vegas. While I've never been tto Vegas, I AM a degenerate poker player and have many, many friends who have been there. My advice for you is:
1. Go right to the pit bosses in Vegas casinos and ask for any coupons they might be offering. You have to ask for them, they won't just comp you unless they see you bet big or you get a ton of play on your new casino card. But it's worth it to ask the pit bosses. The coupons they have will save you lots of cash.
2. Go to the Hard Rock. Once again, ask the Pit Boss for coupons. With a coupon, the Hard Rock has the best and cheapest food around (if you have the coupons and if no one has done them one better now, which is a possibility.)
3. Find the entertainment director of the casino and ask about discounted tickets to shows.
The discounts and freebies are out there, you just have to go get them.
Have a wonderful time!!
Zoey
