Just flew Los Angeles to Seattle this week. Was not en femme but my checked luggage was :-)
Only problems I had was my required, approved, picture ID was expired. I pointed out that I was not expired and was the same person I was before my birthday. My carry-on was checked but it seemed to be my weird collection of metallic items inside. Insulin syringes, coins, foil-wrapped chocolate bars, etc. They checked it twice; I was quite amused but 4 hrs ahead of schedule for my plane and already checked in with a boarding pass. I assumed they checked my checked luggage, as they always seem to. I have learned to not keep important items in the external compartments of baggage as they can be somewhat lax in making sure they zip completely...one hopes they perform this task better in the bathroom. Oh, I showed them my zip-lock baggie of catnip BEFORE they found it and asked, lol.
I check the TSA website before I fly to be aware of current requirements. I carry personal meds in my carry-on bag. (My favorite is CARRY ON NURSE).
