i wish that had happenned to me, when i had a 'bike crash when i was very much younger!!!

A book I found entirely by accident is 'Girl' by David Thomas.I came across it on the shelf of the local library about 5yrs ago,and it 'called out' to me while I was actually lookng for something else,and before I came out.
Briefly,it deals with the aftermath of a guy in hospital to have his wisdom teeth out,another in for total GRS(top and tail),two drunken porters and a trolley crash on the way to theatre.
It is humerous in style,but also dealt seriously with many of the psycholgical and phsyical aspects of suddenly becoming female,and how society and friends deal with it.
I don't know if the author is TG,but if not,he certainly did his research.
Or nice little fantasy if you prefer.
