stevie,
i know you very excited about the site, but some of us dont have webcams, or ability to post pictures even though we'd love to.
Just a friendly comment, not meant to offend.
;DKATIE.... you may think this silly, but a studio is a very good idea for revenue, where people could have pictures taken and posted to a gallery??
Maybe a channel partnership with someone uk, and someone US and reduced rates for trannywebbers, and link advertising on this site from the studio(s) concerned... blah blah blah??
::)(Oh dear, another of Julie's "way out west" visions....)

O.K., here are some of my favorite shoes. If interest in the gallery picks up, I might post some more. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/fashionlab/Images/Smileys/Stevie02.gif

Thanks Katie. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/fashionlab/Images/Smileys/Smile03.gif
Dear, I did see that thread, but I thought it might be nice to have one place where we could all go to see everyone else's pictures, as opposed to having them scattered throuout the board in random posts. When talking in the chat room, it would be nice to be able to say, "Oh, just go to the Gallery, I've posted some pictures there." So many of us want to see each other's pictures and show each other clothes, shoes, etc.
Girls, this isn't a Stevie gallery, it's for anyone who wants to see and/or be seen. I'd love to see some other pictures, so that I can place names with faces. Just follow Katie's instructions from the other topic and post your pictures in here. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/fashionlab/Images/Smileys/Stevie01.gif

Great Idea Stevie, but I beat you to it back in March. Take a look at: http://gendersociety.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=TrannyWeb_News&action=display&num=1015238626&start=2
All the instructions are there.
Hope this helps till the new stuff arrives.
Hugs,
Katie

You know, the more I visit Janice Jade's website, the more I'd like to do a Flash site like that. I just need some more practice with Flash. I've used Flash on websites, but I've never used it for an entire site. There's a simple elegance about her site that's really impressive.

This might not be a good idea, but we'll see how it goes. Katie might have something better with the redesign, but, until then, I wanted to start a photo gallery, so we could post pictures of ourselves. Post anything you like - pictures of yourself, your favorite shoes, outfits, whatever.
I guess I should start it off, considering I brought it up. Here are some web cam pictures of me in my natural habitat, in front of the my computer. Obviously, I'm not really that white. The lighting is bad, and so is my skill with the cam. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/fashionlab/Images/Smileys/Laugh01.gif I'll try to make them better, next time.
The pictures are being redone - check back later.

I plan to do that right after I complete my first novel. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/fashionlab/Images/Smileys/Wink01.gif

Turn that frown upside down! ;D
Smile girls, even if it's a little one.
Great pics Stevie, when you gonna build a site?

I don't smile much, either, except with the little smiles in my posts. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/fashionlab/Images/Smileys/Smile01.gif However, I can manage a coy grin on occasion.

Hi Jaqui
I know what you mean about the self-timer
. It's such a pain, pressing the button, dashing back trying to avoid tripping over the tripod, composing yourself, waiting interminably, thinking something must have gone wrong and peering at the camera just as the flash goes off.
I blame that for my complete inability to smile in photos. Whereas in real life I'm constantly smiling. ;D

Hi girls,
Stevie nice pictures. It would be really nice to have someone take really nice shotsI hate setting the timer and having to go back it ruins the mood. However I have some good ones that I have been dying to post. As soon as I get the chance you know I'll be there. Hugs Jaqui
Cant wait for the new page. I'm so excited.

Usually, I order on-line, but I found those sandals in a local store last year. They were fairly inexpensive, too.

Phyliss,
1) Halloween is coming up in a few weeks, so maybe you can use that as an excuse to get photographed in your "costume." It's just a thought, and it might get you around the attitudes of some photographers. Later, when you have time, you can search for one who doesn't mind doing business with trannies.
2) I do my own manicures and pedicures. For me, that's a big part of the fun of being a woman. Because of my job, I can't keep my manicures for long (weekends and holidays, mainly), but I keep my pedicure 24/7/365/life. It would be great to be able to keep my manicure all the time, too, but I'm stll planning for that day.
3) Most of my shoes are sandals, and most of those have heels of at least 3" (below that, they are usually just casual flat sandals). To me, most pumps aren't very comfortable, and they hide all of work I do on my pedicure. Why wear nail polish if you can't show it off?

I will also wait for the new software. It seems easier. I am beginning to accumulate some pictures that I consider acceptable; I am waiting for some to be developed. They will (hopefully) be the best so far.

Hi Phyliss
Have you thought of trying one of the dressing services? Quite often they will have associations with professional photographers. In fact I'm thinking of indulging myself with one this winter.
There are plenty listed on the 'net. Of course I can't actually find one but you might start here

That makes sense. Maybe I am getting a bit too ambitious, considering this is all going away soon, when the YaBB gets replaced. Now that I think about it, I haven't slowed down since I got here. I suppose I could tone it down a bit... http://mywebpages.comcast.net/fashionlab/Images/Smileys/Smile01.gif
