No, not wheel of fortune; that would have been the unbearably smug Nicky Campbell who unfortunately is still with us, but a thing called "Countdown" which involved making words from a set of randomly drawn letters against the clock. Famed for it's lexicographic accidents such as the one Katie posted earlier.
... OK Katie's was a fix but I believe this one was a genuine Carol Moment
