Heat still holding itself in check. Very pleasant outside right now. Great morning for a walk. That little terror I call a dog & I went to the park early. I think the squirrels were laughing at us. They just weren't scared of my little pup. But she had fun.

I thought for a while there that the second book deal wasn't going to happen after all. Now I finally got a message from the publisher. We're going to chat next week about getting it together. So, a little bit of good news.

I'm going to have the house to myself starting at 1 today. I wonder what I'll do?

Good morning from San Francisco.

I'm on vacation, and at 4:45 a.m., the alarm clock in the next room began beeping ! Of course there is no one staying there, so beep. beep, beep. it goes until there is no way that I'll ever get back to sleep. So it's a quick shower and off to breakfast.
