Stella McCartney

I found out too late, like many others I suspect, that Stella McCartney had produced a cut-price range of clothing for H&M. By the time time I knew about it, the stock had already sold out. At first I thought it was rather sweet, all these shoppers desperate to get hold of a piece of fashion at a price they could afford, so they could wear something wonderful by Stella. Then I saw a photograph in the paper of shoppers just grabbing armfuls of clothes regardless of the size. And now I've just realised that many of these shoppers didn't come to get something nice for themselves. They did it out of greed, because they knew they could make a fat profit re-selling the items on eBay. It makes me very sad. I can't think of any way of stopping people behaving like this, apart from designers like Karl and Stella just not producing cut-price collections for high street chains any more. And that would be a shame.
