From the annals of Meredith the Psycho Ninja......

I had my daughter for Friday night. Me mum suggested we go over to McDonald's to feed her, and let her run around in the Playland they have there.

My kid convinced me to take off my shoes and join her. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TIGHT THOSE SPACES ARE?!?!?!? I do suffer somewhat from claustrophobia, and I thought I was going to freak out in there. I even got dizzy trying to descend the staircase inside of it. I damn near had a panic attack!

Then, after I left the first time, she got me to go back in and play "Got you last," a version of "Tag" or "It" (depending upon which neighborhood you grew up in). At one point I tagged my daughter and took off. Once again, I was descending the staircase, and at full speed. I hit my shoulder on every corner going down. I stumbled out of the playland, and, at a volume a lot louder than I intended, said "I'm not going back in that bloody thing again! A psycho ninja does not like this!"

Needless to say, it garnered me quite a bit of attention there. Whoops.

I guess not! The sign did say that parents were welcome in there. This would have to be the one time I actually follow a rule.

My shoulder is still sore.

Yeah, true. I could handle that with no problem!

Too late! The next time I go I'll definitely have on a mini!
