My honest thought, If you can do better, put your name forward, if not don't criticise. Perhaps Natalie woule like to offer her artistic talents. We all have stories, mine is known by a few, sad and shameful in many aspects. I was asked to contribute,
to be an example of somthing to aspire to. I don't need people to volounteer my servies, or hold me up as an example of the way to do things. Believe me I should not be held up to be somones asperation. And a thought, that iregarless of who is out and who is not, does not make for a story, I am sure there are people who are still not out that could tell a very interesting story in
what its like to live in the closet, for varying reasons. the regret, pressure, thinking of others first like SO's, children etc. Everyone
is entitled to go there own way, God I realy get fed up with the bloody experts, telling everyone the way they did it is right. When will people realise we are not all clones of idealism. People mess up, If other sites are so good,? why come to TW. I love trannyweb. Constructive critism is one thing, but one needs to put themselves forward, no good saying but i'm a lousy writer, I am sure Meredith could help ghost anyones piece if they have somthing interesting to write.
Its not the way its written that is of paramount importance its what is written that counts. .

Not bad I must admit. but the price is a bit steep for me but resionable I would keep it @ that price $109 is just outragousim sorry to say it but it is espicaly in the U.S.(from all the magizens I have seen).
Thanks Steph.
Samantha, I think you have the wrong end of the stick, so to speak. $109 is the price for TW Full Membership and everything else that includes, not just the magazine.
We also included a half price link with the first issue so it would actually cost you less than $55 for a year.
Is that better?
Hugs,

Ok. I've persevered. I still get a little seasick but that is definately more to do with my mouse control than anything else! I've had the time to explore the magazine and, to be completely sarah [I could never be frank], it is looking good. And looking a little more diverse, which is cool. Very mag-like indeed. And a very different animal to the Tribune.
Katie, thinking back to your comment along the lines of this being a potential saving factor for TW. [And if this point has already been made, apols]. I think it's right and proper Frock should be a flagship project free to full members. It's definately a plus in the sites arsenal. However, are you also considering offering it as a single subscription item? I'm thinking here about myself and the rest of the great unwashed. Those of us who can't quite budget to full membership but might be able to scrape up the ante for a quality mag... leave no potential revenue stream unturned. [A finely mixed metaphor if I say so myself].
Mere, m'dear - as we may say here in the wilds of Dorset - thankyou for your comments. Would you be kind enough to email me [addy below] with a contact email for yourself? I know you've publicised one before but I forget where. I did try to scan through Frock but could'nt see any contact details. Either my faulty mouse movements or something worth adding...
So much love to you both and many congrats to the team.

Thanks for the feedback Rae. I think we did leave out a contact email address but twas probably because the mag is still within the Trannyweb site and there's a live help button and also a 'contact us' link at the bottom of the page.
Initially Frodck was going to be for Full Members only but it's gone down so well that I think we might make it available to anyone else who wants it by subscription. As usual, I'll need to talk to Eric about how we can do this.
And what kind of price would be acceptable? The downloadable version of Transliving magazine costs £7.99 and Reparteee's download costs £5.00. Would you buy it for say £4.50 per issue?
Thanks and hugs,
Katie x
Just reread my post, thinking it was a bit ambiguous, so just to clarify, I was not refering to Meredeith or Katie when I was whinging about people holding me up as an example, In fact I was touched that Meredith thought I had an interesting story, and was flattered by Katies request to contribute another item, which I won't go into for various reason. The reason I was annoyed is, I did not like the way I was named in another posting, to be held up as an example of coming out and the way it was intimated thats the right way to do things. Perhaps Meredith, should for example, get a story on how it affected SO's and family, when people come out. How people approached coming out to them and how they handled it. I will be upgrading my membership shortly to gain the maximum benefeits of TW and show my support. Which then, I think will entitle me to comment more, but for the time being, well done to Katie and Meredith and all my love. Just remember that we are all individuals, what is right for one is so wrong for another, there is no rule book that I know of, for what to some is a very stressfull time and if they get it wrong has serious emotional repercussions all round.

Cris,
I understood perfectly what you meant. You made that suggestion to me last week about the SOs, something that I have written down and am starting to work on. So, don't worry from this standpoint! All is fine.

Yep, I would certainly wish to subscribe to Frock as a basic member.
Pricewise, I haven't seen a copy of Transliving [but it seems a bit pricey at £7.99] or Repartee, so can't compare. But £4.50 would'nt be too extravagant given most glossies retail at the £3.50 - £4.50 mark.
It would be nice to see it at least bi-monthly. 3 months is soooo long to wait!
Much love

Hi all--
Have just read the first of many "Frock" magazines. I like what I see--and would love to submit articles, op-ed pieces, and anything that I can do to support this. Long overdue this is!
Mere, Cerys--great work. And a tip of my frilly sun-hat to Katie, who's doing her best to keep the good ship TrannyWeb afloat.
Luv 'n hugs to all,
Dr. Mina
