Tommy's funeral

Today was Tommy's funeral, which was probably the most beautiful funeral I ever attended. Even the Priest was moved, having known Tommy personally. I was a pall bearer, and the last to put a flower on the casket before they lowered it into the ground. He was a Vietnam vet, so a small honor guard was there to play taps and fold up the flag draped over the caseket. It was then given to my Aunt Stephanie. From there we proceeded to the White Eagle for a delicious lunch of Polish food, where I ate far too much!

I'm doing okay, so don't worry about me. Thanks for your well wishes.

I'm glad that it was a lovely service Mere, although of course it's always very sad. Hang in there girl, we're here if you do need to talk.

    Best wishes,
