Go ahead and laugh at me.......

Against my better judgment, I participated in my department's quidditch match on the museum front lawn yesterday. I played for Hufflepuff, and we beat Griffyndor (is that how they're spelled?).

You guess it. I was injured. Pulled the hamstrings in my right leg. I am in pain! I have to teach this morning, then drive my ex all over the place. Oh well.

Two years ago I did something similar, also for a museum sporting event. At this particular softball game I pulled the hammies in BOTH legs and was out of the game by the third inning.

I learned long ago (in my youth) that once you pull a hamstring the easier it is to do it again.
Now due to wisdom of age - joke I learned to do a lot of stretching before endeavoring to be "one of the sporting group."
I still get cramps in my legs - oh well. Isn't growing up fun?

    Hi Mere,

Thank God that the sport didn't involve any sharp objects!!!! Get well soon!!
And no running with scizzors for you.
