Wow, thanks Cris and Melody for bringing this man's blog to our attention. This guy really speaks to my heart. The way he defines RLE as being an experience versus step by step training with a goal of surgery at the end is very much inline with my ideas on the subject. Too much emphasis has been placed on making sure we are passable, rather than helping us socially adjust. And still for others, all RLT or E happens to be is a calendar with scheduled appointments, with SRS being the final one. I think this guy recognizes we are individuals with varying needs and abilities, where a cookie cutter approach has no place in shaping our futures.

I will definitely bookmark his blogs.

    Hugs,
    Marsha
