Wow, thats a fairly well balanced story.
I do think there is an element of the subject of the story having been coached to a be a little more laissez faire about having to play on the girls team than he might actually feel. Its good to see that they took the time to publicize the details and coach him in how to speak etc. A positive message like this is very much needed in such an environment.
