What would Jesus do?

They probably haven't read the New Testament. Jesus hung out with the detested folks of society. Also, he made a clear distinction between God's laws and societies laws. Despite the fact that if anyone reads the Bible in its original Greek and Hebrew its clear that homosexuality is not a problem, if such pastors still have this heterosexist view than they should chalk it to "societies" law.

So, if they were serious about their faith they'd leave. The military could also effectively order gay soldiers to avoid such demoninations while in the service.

Anyways, Jesus would most likely call 'em out then forgive.

Also that blog/whatever was a tad dishonest. I was an MP, its something I'm still not proud of doing, but one of our "duties" was investigating homesexual behavior...by the way, all it takes is a rumor of someone being gay to launch an investigation.

Its a secret that everybody knows, that the Army has a surplus of Chaplains because one of their major roles is telling the locals MP's if a soldier has copped to being gay. Basically, if any soldier tells a chaplain of any unlawful activity, as stated in the UCMJ, the Chaplain has the duty to report it to the MP's. So, the military hires a surplus of Chaplains since they are a natural part of the security services within the military. If homosexuality is allowed then the military needs that much few Chaplains.

Its really about job security and they know, the religious crap is a smoke-screen.

I am simply amazed that the chaplains might expect to behave differently if. given the same randomly selected group of soldiers, they know who the gay soldiers are versus not knowing who they are. Apparently they truly are saying ignorance is bliss.

He'd forgive everybody. Then they'd all have a big hug, and then they'd have a party. Then they'd get drunk and have a fight. Then they'd feel bad about it and ask Jesus for forgiveness and he of course would forgive them, and so on and so on.

Oh dear! Considering ignorance is bliss you would expect them to be happy. Anyway, What were Joseph and Mary thinking of when they called their baby Jesus, with a surname of Christ, what on earth were they thinking!

    Hi All,

Makes you wonder if these folks have ever actually read the New Testament:

What ever happened to "I've taken an oath to put my own feelings aside and obey the orders of my Commander in Chief"?

    Best,
