I'm planning on getting along to Manchester for Sparkle in July if I can.  Are you intending to go too.

If so, would you be interested in being one of our little helpers?  That would involve helping Katie to represent our community, dishing out leaflets to all and sundry and it might take up a two or three hours of your time.

Also, what about organising a competition of some kind against one of the other groups who will be there?  In 2008 we did netball but it took place at a local leisure centre rather than at Sparkle itself.  Maybe we could do something that can happen at the event itself.  How about a backgammon or chess tournament?

Or how about we put on a fashion show or suchlike.  Got any other ideas?

Or how about a GS girly get together on Saturday night in the village?

It'd be good to see you again Katie. My plans for sparkle are pretty well sorted but still a few wee details to arrange. As for a competition.....how about Blackjack?. I'm sure everyone's familar with that so it could be fun.
