In the space of an hour,today, one man is believed to have shot two seperate TG women, in Hollywood, CA. The attacks both appear to be unprovoked.
"Over 119 trans people were murdered in the first nine months of 2011 alone."
babe, it's not just TG people who are targetted, anyone who is 'different' can be targetted by a small minority of idiots. In the UK, a while ago, a woman (genetic female) who was dressed in Goth clothing was beaten (to death, I think) and her male partner injured.
There is always a small minority of people everywhere who can't deal with people who are 'different' to their opinion of 'normality'. Give them a gun and the results become much more serious, much more quickly.
It is sad, but is something that everyone has to deal with. Advice:- ALWAYS be vigilant for the idiots who might cause you problems, regardless of who/what you are.
