I just finished watching a well done program on CNN on the Anderson Cooper program.

It featured 3 transgendered children and their parents. It went on to discuss what the children went thru (and are currently going thru) and how their parents are working with their TG kids, school and other life experiences they have had to work thru.

 

The program went on to discuss two teen FTM men and their experiences while transitioning.   Anderson stressed the need for understanding and  treated the subject with a great deal of empathy. See link below:

I wish I'd seen it. It's so great that being transgendered is slowly beginning to be recognized and treated with dignity by the mainstream media.

But there's a long way to go. Can you imagine something like this on Fox?

Not on fox unless Romney or Gingrich were TG
