Do any of you MtFs own or would like to own a pink handbag?  

When I posted on another forum that I had bought a pink handbag it brought forth a great deal of sneering and joking even though I said I always choose lighter feminine coloured clothes and a pink one would match nicely and there are lots of other women around with pink handbags.

So why did I get so many 'wouldn't be seen dead with pink' sneers?

 

 

Cos they think pink is a stereotypical girl thing. They think that if they like "pink" stuff they are conforming to society's views about "girls".

Just buy and be happy with something that matches you clothes and ignore the comments

Not a bag, but I have a pink Marimekko umbrella. A nice surprise was how much safer I feel crossing streets. Cars *always* stop to let me me cross.
