I notice that many of our members who were active on the old site are no longer doing so. Have they left or found a new site ? On the old site, the forums were used constantly and friendships blossomed. Now we get mostly welcome and"like you"postings on the opening page and the forums and blog sections are seldom used.  Has paid membership increased ? Personally I spend less time here and go to other TG sites

I don't think that the transition to being front page centred from a forum centric site has helped at all Joanne, postings there are very transitory and can last just 30 mins before disappearing into oblivion. With a forum centric web site, more discussion about topics becomes the norm and that way people can form friendships and obtain good information
