I have seen this girl on televison before but she is even more special now than the last time.  I kept crying during this show but mostly because I was so happy for her.  Early teens and she is out and speaking for the commuity already.  I admire her soooooo much.

This would not have been possible 50 yrs ago.  Her life should be the benchmark for future TS children.  She appears to be being treated wiith an antiandrogen pump to ensure no male characteristics break through.  With her I can see what life should be like for us when we are children.  There will always be bullies and bigotry but they will find any excuse.

I wish there was some way we (GS) could give her support and thanks for what she is doing.

Unfortunately, because of the age limit imposed on the site, it just isn't possible to give her any support Wendy. However, she does have the love and support of her parents and lots of other US organizations which can support those that are under the age of 18.

Over here in the UK we are lucky to have Mermaids Liason (http://www.mermaidsuk.org.uk/) and over there in the States you have a number of organizations including the excellent Trans Youth Family Allies (http://www.imatyfa.org/)
