That story is telling in so many ways. On the face of it it’s a sweet hopeful story about the upcoming generation. As adults see the world as it really is where as a child she hasn’t yet been colored by all the garbage she is likely to endure. My question would have been why there are not any black female dolls. Perhaps the reason would have been innocent enough but wouldn't it be a wonderful thing if when she does become an adult she still will be able retain her innocence? If so then we have truly made progress.
