Bone health of adolescents receiving GnRHa to halt puberty

    Another nail in the coffins of those who fight to prevent this life saving intervention I would say. A study of the bone health of adolescents with gender identity disorder who received puberty suppression treatment with GnRHa (gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogs - a derivative of the physiologic hormones) has shown no long term deleterious effects on adolescents - once cross-hormone therapy has been commenced.
